grandmaster Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Hamhuis has been horrible this season thus far. Rather than being our top D man, his play has been nothing but. Give away after give away, since the opening season. Today's game versus the Canadiens was just another example. Luongo had no chance while Hamhuis scored on himself. That goal turned the tide of the game and became the winning goal. Something is up with this guy. He does not appear injured but there is some thing seriously wrong. Could he have plateaued and is now on the decline? Whatever it is, Torts needs to deal with him and perhaps cut his ice time, should that be required. I'm sure he has already thought of it. He has been the most consistent or one of the most consistent defensemen since he has been here. A few games and he is on the decline. What a joke.
