tone down on the Luongo fanboyism he didn't steal the gold for Canada he played good but not as good as Miller if the Americans had won that game it would of been all because of Miller

as for the goal despite him not showing up he scored arguably one of the most important goals in Canadian hockey history right up there with the Henderson goal laugh at me if you must but the goal that won gold on Canadian soil is very important regardless of how the player played in the tournament

Semi game vs slovaks... while keith seabrook toews and company were absolutely choking in the defensive zone in the final minute of the game Luongo stole the show. When it mattered.

Luongo was very good vs the states. Miller gave up a terrible goal vs Crosby. WHICH was Crosby's ONLY point in the final 3 or 4 games.

Crosby was one of our worst players. Luongo outplayed Miller in the gold game and that's why Canada walked away with Gold. In Luongo's house. GM PLACE.

If they give Crosby & Friends 50 shots on net we're in for an ugly night.

I agree, this is a team you def don't want to give that many shots. If we play only 20 min hockey again it'll be 10-0 penguins. If we play like the team the Canucks have shown they can be, it'll be a good close game.

It's like he's born to be the great Canadian hockey god. Born August 7 of 87 hence the number 87. the golden goal scorer, in the city of the Last Olympics being inspired the day the team is announced to lead us on to the the glory of a repeat lol

doesn't change the fact the Americans were 1 goal away from having Miller steal them the gold while Luongo played well enough to win he didn't stand on his head

lol @ miller outplayed Luongo in the gold medal game, last time i checked stopping 34 out of 36 shots for a .944 save % is better than stopping 36 out of 39 for a .923 save %.

Luongo stopped a pretty decent scoring chance on a braindead giveaway in our own end in OT, the following rush off that save led to the winning goal.

but yeah Luongo sucks

No Crosby.

No gold.

He showed up on the scoreboard at the most important time but you are sick of that.

Man he just threw the puck at Miller, bad goal on his part really...But yeh Crosby seems destined to always be the hero of a game and win no matter what.
