Gradin-23
@patersonjeff #Canucks went 9-3-4 without Edler. Gained 22 of possible 32 points It's amazing how little that man has to say that actually matters.
Dickie
Edler's going to crush Brown with a big open ice hit tonight. I can feel it. Then probably get a 7 game suspension.

Gradin-23
Also the same as 11-5 ... not bad. Except it isn't 11-5. I assume it was Patterson's way of trying to say something without actually saying it. OMG, maybe we are better off without Edler?

King Heffy
Im more confident WITH Edler in the lineup then without him...especially as of late and against these LA/Anaheim Stanton's the guy we miss. The team suddenly improved defensively as soon as Edler was out of the lineup. Given our recent issues in our own end after Stanton went down, the worst possible thing for this group is to insert a lazy, stupid defenseman who likes going on leisurely skates around his own zone. touchable
Must be really good to be a minus 12 in less than half a season's worth of games. Yes, because plus/minus is by far the most accurate statistic to judge a defenseman's play.
King Heffy
Yes, because plus/minus is by far the most accurate statistic to judge a defenseman's play. When paired with watching him pass to the other team and not bother covering his man in the slot on a consistent basis, it's fairly relevant. Edler is a good defenseman from the neck down. Tom Sestito
He's not as bad as you guys rag on him for my god. He has the same turnovers per game as Hedman. Bieksa is like top ten in the NHL for turnovers for defenseman and he doesn't get ragged on ever... Torts has been pushing Edler SO MUCH this season. He's trying to get everything out of him, so of course he was going to struggle. It's not hard for a defenseman like that to just change his game in a new system. It's not hard for a defenseman like that to just change his game in a new system. He was also horrible last season and the LA series before that. This isn't on Torts' system, this is a defenseman who simply isn't smart enough to develop the hockey sense to succeed defensively at the NHL level. He gets 22+min per game Torts clearly doesent think he sucks and I trust his judgement...As well as team Sweden over haters Edit: And who dident suck against the Sharks last year? Most of the team took aa step back that year. I can't think of anyone who really progressed. He was still on pace for 35-40 points...
