I think this would be the better message to our star players than scratching them would be. If the coaching staff shows that they reward good play with more ice time and chances then maybe players will actually want to earn it, instead of repeatedly sending the Sedins and Kesler out regardless of their play. Nucks come out hard in the first get up 2-0 3. Goals by Burrows and Garrison 4. Then they fade and the hawks buzz the whole game, but Lou steals the show 5. Kane sets up Sharp late in the 3rd, 7 mins to go 6. Last minute, craziness in our own end, Chicago bombarding us, but Lou stands his ground 7. Empty netter by Higgins with 35 seconds left. Shaw has done a decent job, but in the long term I think Teravainen (Finnish prospect) will take the job.
