hockeyfan90
been a home series entirely just remember canucks vs bruins finals in 2011 lol anything can happen, canucks were up 2-0 in that series also just like the avs and won all the home games except the won that mattered the most

CANUCKS FTW!
Mackinnon a -3. Kid has superstar talent, but needs to work on his defensive game a bit more.
Absent Canuck
Mackinnon a -3. Kid has superstar talent, but needs to work on his defensive game a bit more. Ok two of the minus' were from empty net goals.
ManUtd
Hope this series (regardless of how game 7 goes) has finally proven to Sakic and Roy that they need to do whatever it takes (within reason) get some more top 4 D. Would love to get a guy like Ehrhoff. Heck even take a gamble on Edler if he comes cheap enough and hope Roy and Foote can turn his game around. The inability to make simple clears just killed us today. Can't go into next season with only 3 top 4 guys again. This team with more experience and an actual NHL caliber defence will be scary good especially if Varly can have another year like this one. Dragonfruits
didn't watch much but Mackinnon proves he can't play on the road it seems 0 points -3 yes 2 empty goals still i guess it's good as long as they have home ice

I don't think Sakic had planned for Matt Cooke to knee on knee your best defenceman. If Barrie was in the lineup it'd be a completely different game. If Barrie was in the lineup it'd be a completely different game. Well no one could have known that would happen but you have to expect injuries. Going in with 3 top 4 guys was playing with fire and in the end we got burned. At least with 4 we would still have half a second pairing. The bargain basement guys (benoit, holden, guenin) have had phenomenal years but we're in trouble if more than one is still a regular next season. Siemens needs at least one more year in the A before seeing bottom pairing time. Can't just bank on Bigras having another phenomenal camp and somehow earning a top 4 spot. Even if he did, still need a top 4 vet (preferably a puck mover or at least with a little offensive upside) as insurance and to provide depth. There was a rumour earlier in the year that we were close to getting Kulikov. Boy would he look great right now.

Tangelos
I'm starting to learn that getting the team goon to injure an opposing team star is a winning strategy in the nhl. The goon will be suspended for a handful of games but it's not like he was doing anything productive to begin with. Call up another goon from the AHL and repeat for the 2nd round. Canucks should look into this strategy next year. Have a guy sucker punch Getzlaf in game

Bure010
want the Wild to lose simply because if they go through it means Cooke gets to play again Go Avs
ManUtd
Hoping last change and having Dutchy back will create matchup problems for the Wild and the boys will be able to get it done. Cooke getting to play in the second round would be a joke. We'd be totally overwhelmed and probably swept by the Hawks but at least it would be fun offensive hockey not the snoozefest it will be if the Wild make it through. Varlamov has OWNED the Hawks this year. As a Hawks fan, I'd love to see an Avs-Hawks series for the fast-paced, end-to-end hockey that would be played....but I also want to see the Hawks advance to the next round. The Wild provide a much easier series.
