Tom Sestito
Sharp has similar value to Kesler, so you add on a top five prospect in the world, + a first for Hansen?
Go Faulk Yourself
Sharp has similar value to Kesler, so you add on a top five prospect in the world, + a first for Hansen? Pretty much. Chicago loses this deal pretty badly in my opinion.
TheRussianRocket.
Sharp has similar value to Kesler, so you add on a top five prospect in the world, + a first for Hansen? Wouldn't by any means call him a top 5 prospect in the world. And yea it is unfair value but Sharp goes as a cap transfer to make it work for Chicago plus he's 33 and I'm sure Hawks would be happy to give him up at this point in his career. Maybe we can retain cap to make it more pleasing?
TheRussianRocket.
Or took out Chicago first. That'd be more fair imo.
smithers joe
what do you think chicago and florida really want or want to give?.....that is the real question....everyone makes trades of players they want to move....that rarely happens.
Phil_314
The Hawks wouldn't want Hansen, they're armed to the teeth with wingers and centers who can play on the wing. The Great Dane doesn't really add anything to them, since he's more or less a run-of-the-mill 3rd liner. Also, no way that Kes goes to Chi Town only to get an even older player back in Sharp. We're probably going to go young in the retool, and the Hawks will need every weapon they can keep to dethrone the Kings. Moving Sharp's probably out of the question. Also don't think that we'd need to include Higgins, who has been a good scorer for us.

Move Sharp to the left wing and move Kassian up, put Burrows on the 3rd line. I'd rather have Stanton playing, than signing Meszaros.
smithers joe
i can see chicago giving teravainen plus for kesler....i don't see sharp agreeing to come to vancouver..... i could see florida moving the 1st pick for 6th and jensen....then they pick ehlers

Barkov, Trouba, Hertl and Murray can be removed from that list. Teravainen at 13 would then slide into the top 10.....
