Gretzky_Sedins Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 To Boston- 4th round pick 2015,5th round pick in 2015 To Vancouver- Louie Eriksson We do this because- he is still 28 years old and has good chemistry with the sedins and then burrows can move down to the 2nd line giving us depth Why Boston does this- because they need to free up cap space for their RFA's that they need to sign I know this has been very debatable on CDC and with the recent moves around the NHL such as Gagner to Arizona for only a 6th this is very similar to a trade like that. 2015 line up Sedin Sedin Eriksson Burrows Bonino Kassian Higgins Vey Hansen Mathias Richardson Dorsett Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They still have 2 compliance buyouts they can use on Kelly and Savard (unless the window to use them as closed). I doubt they trade him for low draft picks.
