All that says is literally what everyone already knows. He's a fantastic puck mover.

None of those stats address the fact he is a poor checker and/or that he is questionable positionally in the defensive zone. Those are the reasons people say he is not great defensively. Prove me wrong with facts against those points.

Yup, two way involves skating in more than one direction on the ice. If the argument for is that he's great when skating towards the other team's net, then it has nothing to do with two way.

Having said that, he does have great speed and skating, and can recover from his or other's mistakes to beat players back on the rush, but once the other team is set up in Ottawa's zone he has trouble defending when he can't control the puck.

I'm of the firm belief that teams need shutdown pairings to be cup winners. There is nothing "shutdown" about Karlsson and I seriously doubt he will ever carry the way players like Chara and Doughty can.

Regardless hes a great offensive D... but that's about it.
