Why didn't you just name the thread "Let's argue about the fact that I mentioned Subban's skin colour" . Have fun with this one.

I don't know anything about Klingberg but come on now, anybody can score on the Oilers from centre ice

- im sorry i fixed it

- i think its hard to score on an nhl goalie from center ice

- the point is to display his nice shot

why not hes gritty, defensively sound and only 26

have any thoughts on the actually trade though?

But how does that separate him from anything any other bottom-pairing defenseman could do? I don't think his grit or defensive game stand out either. I mean, they're both good, but I'm not sure it's a step up from other bottom-pairing guys around the league.

As for the trade, I'm not sure why Dallas would do it. The key piece (Kassian) is a RW and they already have Seguin, Nichushkin, and Hemsky on that side.

I have his name as John Klingberg , not Karl.

I also have him as 6ft and 158 lbs .

Its my opinion the kid is netting a few points playing in a high octane Dallas system more than he is a becoming the next Karlsson.

I pass. I dont give Kassian for him nor even Stanton let alone both. I dont expect Subban to amount to much so if Dallas wants him for Kingberg I dont see how it would hurt.

Nill ain't giving up on a young PMD.

Not sure why Benning would give up on Subban.

I like the train of thought and would love if JB could parlay Kassian into a young d man that is playing with high end potential now.

With that said, why would Nill do this deal?
