Dutch_Canuck
To Van 57th 86th To Edm Lack 114th Why Vancouver says yes With Vancouver not having any picks in rounds 2 and 3, Benning will want to go out and grab as many as possible. This way we pick up a late 2nd and 3rd in a deep draft. Lack for a 57th straight up seems a little risky, so to spread out the extra value on Lack's end, we move up from 114 to 86 (we have two 5th's as well). Why Edmonton says yes, This gives Edmonton an added boost on the goalie front and makes one of Scrivens or Fasth expendable. They have an abundance of picks in rounds 1,2 and 3, so will be willing to unload for help now. Fair deal? Changes?
thejazz97
Lack could probably get those two on his own, with it being in-division and all.
Mike Vanderhoek
Not liking this deal for Vancouver, they would need a higher pick involved going to the Canucks then 57th.

YEGCanuck
B.S. Stop with the Lack to Oil stuff. No need to trade within the Western Conference, not to mention the Pacific Division.
Miltt
Make the 86 a 16 and there could be a deal...
Crabcakes
Yes Miltt.....I agree, within the division, a 1st or no deal.....this isn't charity outside the division, 45th or better the whole Lack thing is bad medicine, I hate it but there's not much choice
