Popular Post AV.
There's a few minor technicalities to work out with the remaining teams. So, once I figure those out, I'll post them along with Toronto and Minnesota's signings. Anyways, I'll try and update the sheets tomorrow and put the finishing touches on the FA doc. BUT I NEED YOUR ATTENTION: If you happen to be over the cap after the re-signings, it is your responsibility to get under the salary cap ASAP. REMEMBER, you cannot exceed more than 3m during the off-season. Either, (1) work out a trade to be completely under or (2) consider 'burying' a player (only 1 per team and 25% of the cap-hit will still count towards your total cap) Since we already offered a re-neg/compliance buy-out, there will be no buy-out phase during this off-season. 2
falcon45ca
If any teams find themselves over the cap and need relief (that doesn't involve a van down by the river with a bag of expired candy), then give me a message. If the Habs find that they themselves are over the cap, ever and at any time, then just chalk it up to equalization payments. I'm legally allowed to say that as a GM who has always lived in a 'have-province'. Suck it Nunavut.
