Tough to explain fully until voting is closed, but I want to see if others can outline better cases for 2 other scummy players in my eyes than MR because there are some that think he may be TP, or less scummy than others. Fear is also absent from my body inside an hour until nightfall.

I could be swayed to vote for MR instead of Zfetch but I'm still a little confused about the whole roleclaim here.

 

- LL says that he received the contraband phone as part of his role PM. It was a one-time use thing and he lost it after R1.

- MR is saying he gave a random player a random power, and he believes that this ended up being the phone for LL. Obviously this can't be the case because LL received this power R0, not R1.

 

Am I following along here?

It's frustrating because MR's claim leaves enough wiggle room for him to weasel out of what he said about LL. There's no way of really catching him in a "gotcha" because he can't possibly know who received the power and what that power actually was. He's also crafty enough to use this claim for that exact reason.

Also - MR's power isn't particularly useful to the town (if he's being honest about it). We know that LL isn't "player B" since LL already had his power, so it's not like he can just keep feeding random powers to LL. Since he's already admitted he won't be very active/helpful, it's just $&!#ty instead of a huge mistake if he flips town.

Last thing on MR (I think): I'm struggling to see incentive for him to lie here. Maybe I've missed something, but I don't think he was in danger of being lynched before the role claim? Sticking his neck out for no reason seems bizarre.
