Very excited to have Karlsson aboard. He's among my alltime favorite dmen and I think that the break/shutdown will give him so much needed time to rest/recover and spend time with his family. Expect him to come back with a fury. Great working with the Dallas GMs on this trade. They have good vision. Mark was a fantastic player for us, and we expect he’ll continue to be for the remainder of his contract. But with the flat cap, we had to cut salary. But he should be considered a starter, so we knew we had to move him this offseason. Probably should have waited, because he’s had a phenomenal playoffs, and probably could have squeezed out more trade value.
