NEW YORK ISLANDERS OTB

The Islanders are looking to move out some prospects that are pushing for NHL jobs. Looks like I won't have the roster space at this time to bring them on to full time rolls, unless injuries occur. While injuries are a guarantee, I also know that the likelihood of 5-10 injuries happening simultaneously is impossible. So, the following bubble players are available for a draft pick or an unsigned prospect. Should be noted that some of these guys have a value I'd place at a late first/early second, and some mid-round to later round.

- Julien Gauthier

- Keegan Kolesar

- Joel L'Esperance

- Sam Lafferty

- Carsen Twarynski

- Jayden Halbgewachs

- Jacob Bryson

- Grant Hutton

Prospects still on their NHL rosters. Well done boys!

- Shane Bowers

- Yegor Korshkov

- Julien Gauthier

- Carsen Twarynski

- Joel L’Esperance

- Keegan Kolesar

- Grant Hutton

- Mac Hollowell

Good fight for forwards on my team, with Grant Hutton really shining for the Isles on defense. My top defensive prospects (Perunovich, Lerby) won’t be coming until next season, at which point they’ll likely make their respective clubs (especially Lerby).

For my other prospects in the CHL, College, Europe, Michal Teply has already had a terrific start, while defenseman Tyler Tucker has continued his ridiculous production from last season with 4 points in 2 games.

Hurricanes place Zach Hyman on I/R (link), and call up Tage Thompson and Brendan Guhle. @Nail

Also looking to move out some salary, so open to offers on Tampa Bay's Alex Killorn.

As well, I'm willing to move Adam Erne for cheap. He's young (24), and likely to get a big boost of icetime this year.

31 minutes ago, Monty said:

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed Ben Chiarot to a 3 year contract, with an AAV of $2.1M.

Hurricanes are very happy to bring Chiarot on board. Top-6 is definitely set now, all locked in for 3+ years (except Guhle, who is a pending RFA):

Giordano - Schmidt

Ekholm - Sergachev

Chiarot - Guhle
