MS and friends have literally been waking up every morning for the past 5 years ANGRY.  At Benning.    It’s just really mind boggling stuff.   Gillis and Dubas are gods in their eyes.

 

We were told for YEARS that Toronto had done things “the correct way,” and that they were a paragon of excellence as far as rebuilds went.

No that’s not how it works.   It has to be close to 11 million before it gets that high.   4.3-6.5 is one first rounder and one third rounder.   Below that barely anything.  6.5-AHO is 1 first - second and one 3rd.   Below 4.3 a second rounder.   Below a certain amount Zero compensation. 
 

Edit:  If a team offer sheeted EP at 10.702 would you match or take the four first rounders?  
 

Edit:  If a team offered JV 2.2-3 would you match or take the second rounder...same with AG?

With offer sheets a player has to sign it though for it to be valid right? So in theory of a player wanted to stay at the club but wanted a bit more and for offer sheeted they could use this to up their rate at current club but stil be below the offer sheet value?
