I think he'd be clutch in Buffalo. Columbus was just a big a joke as they were before Tortorella got there. Buffalo should follow suit. Torts was terrible in Vancouver but his tenure here brought about some very important changes that gives us the team we have today. He still has a place in the NHL IMO

If there isn’t a place for Babchuck, there certainly isn’t a place for Tortorella. If there is, then:

Babcock to Vancouver any day.

With his experience he'd be a solid fit here with yet another top 10 pick coming into our system

Man. What he could do with this team indeed.

Hughes, Pettersson, Boeser, Podkolzin, Juolevi…

Massive upgrade on coaching. THAT one is worth it.

I think we'd have another down year next year and then with all the bad contracts coming off the books (everybody but Ferland and Myers) we'd be in good position with our young players and an experienced coach to lead us to a top 3 seed in the Pacific in 2023. Hopefully the divisions return to normal though as we'll have a hard time getting past McDavid, Tavares, Matthews, Suzuki, Monahan, Gaudreau, Marner, Stutzle, M. Tkachuk, B. Tkachuk and others.
