NJ WJC Prospects (So far)

Could be some injuries but so far we have 10 players slated to represent their countries at the WJC's. Those numbers could go up or down depending on injuries. Very happy with this. 9 of those 10 players we drafted in the last 2 seasons since taking over the NJ franchise. We hope to beat this total next season! We definitely got some 18 yr olds who will likely play bigger roles next season as well. Drafting and development is our goal with this team. Tyutnev and Sjoholm are both longshots to ever be NHL'ers but its fun to see them make this stage regardless if this is where they top out. As we amass more talent we will begin to move some of the non core pieces out as we sift through whom we wish to keep. There will definitely be some good players moved down the road simply because we may not be able to keep everyone.  I personally thoroughly enjoy drafting and would like to one day get into as a career. This is a fun little project playing with you all!

Canada

Tampa Bay is happy to say that we have 5 players that are off to this years WJC in Edmonton. Congrats to all and we will be watching closely to see how our guys perform We expect big tournaments from each player and expect that each will play a vital role for their teams. We are hoping for a strong performance again by Florian Elias so that he can hopefully get drafted this upcoming year! Dissapointed about Yan Kuznetsov and Shai Buium not being named to their respective temas.
