We aren't likely to be too active in FA, as we weren't active in the draft this season, but we will be back with a vengence to build on our last half climb up the standings and with more maturity will come better results from our youth core. Exciting times to be a Canuck for sure, and with Jamie, we are better than we otherwise would have been. Thanks Nail for a long but ultimately productive negotiation. A reminder to all GMs, in order to buyout a player teams must first place them on waivers with intentions to buy out their contract. Only once they have cleared waivers will they be eligible for a buyout.
