Elias Pettersson
We didn't have a 1st round pick in 2020 or 2021 and all of our top prospects are now on the big club so what did people expect? If we had kept our 2021 first round pick then we'd have a top 10 prospect in Guenther. And if we had kept our 2020 first round pick we'd have another top 60 prospect in Mukhamadullin. So we'd have 4 guys on the list. Instead we have Miller, OEL and Garland which is fine by me as Mukhamadullin may not even make the NHL and we have tons of players and prospects at RW so Guenther would have been redundant.

It's troubling no matter how you look at it. There have been prospects that were traded like McCann and Forsling. Canucks player development was poorly run for many years and they became solid NHLers for other teams. The others like Lind, Virtanen, Juolevi, Woo, Gadjovich were either bad picks or poorly developed, or both.
Pure961089
I’d like to see Hoglander get a ton of icetime in the A rather than him playing on our 4th line. He’s too good to let slip through the cracks, he needs his confidence high. We have the depth now, there’s no need to rush players anymore. So there's that. Recent history with Fins and Linga hasn’t been great the past few years. Laine (questionable attitude) Kakko Lambert Juolevi Since Laine, who’s the next big star to come out of Linga?

wai_lai416
lol doesn't matter how you guys spin it.. for a team that missed the playoffs 7 of the past 9 years.. and still not a lock as a playoff contender.. it's still pretty sad..
