If Lindholm would sign an extension of something like $6.5 x 6-7yrs, I’d consider trading Miller. But Calgary would need to add. Miller for Lindholm + Zadorov + 2nd Calgary gets a long term player on a good contract. Vancouver gets more pieces to fill in the holes.

I think CBJ is the only team not in a rebuild mode that Canucks could possibly make a trade with. That #3 pick would coincide with Canucks interest in the Swedish prospect Carlsson. Don’t know what it would take. But Miller seems to be off the table. So the only other premium talent would be Hughes or Demko. Not likely Hughes as CBJ just got Sev. And CBJ Achilles heel last year was Merzlikins. A whopping 4.23 GAA and a dismal 0.876 save %. #3 + Merz for #11 + Demko + Raty Dunno if Clark can work his magic and make Merz better. Could be a giant step backwards if Merz can’t play significantly better than last year.

Well if Canucks sign him, the most he can get is 7yrs, unless they trade for his rights before July 1st and re-sign him for 8yrs.

Soucy is 28yr old, 6’5” and 210lbs that made $2.75M on his last contract. He might want a longer term deal. So probably $4M x 6-8yrs.

I guess so. Last season was a bad year BUT he supposedly had a broken foot. The year before he wasn’t too bad as a #3/4 D. Still overpaid as a #3/4D.

So now OEL is the scapegoat for Canucks having AHL goaltending for most of the season last year? What was OEL +/- when Demko returned healthy? Also keep in mind that OEL apparently had a broken foot as well.
