New drivers, turning that N sticker sideways is not fooling anyone. It's not a Z and you're not cool and rebellious, you just look like someone that can't operate a simple letter.

@Apple Juice I used to drive a bright Red Dodge SRT4 with Stage 2 Turbo. The thing was a rocket. I used to take it to the track at Mission raceway. But when I was on the road I would drive normally because I didn't want to wreck it or get it impounded. But because it was red and flashy and I was a fairly young guy at the time (late 20's), I used to get pulled over all the time for the dumbest things. For example I once got a $350 Obstruction of License Plate ticket for having a clear cover over my licence plate (like sold at any canadian tire). Completely clear. Not tinted or obscured in any way regardless of angle you held it or camera flash. It was only to keep the plate clean and stop people from being able to steal the insurance decal sticker (which happened to my friend). I fought it and went to court over it and lost. The judge said the letter of the law is that NOTHING can cover your license plate regardless of design or intended purpose. Just like I'm sure the law states the N must be an official one and be displayed correctly (right side up).... Like I said, it all depends on the cop....

@Roger Neilson's Towel Man that's brutal. At the end of the day, it is ICBC and it goes towards ICBC so any money they can leech off you, they will do it.
