Even if he isn't scoring goals, he's checking and Penalty Killing on the third line. Even then, the price tag is still good... Opmac Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 I was worried that Burrows was going to pass the puck to Bernier, at which point Bernier knowing Burrows has not scored this series yet will pass it back to him, then at which point the play gets broken up, and the play goes the other way. But Burrows was on something like a 14 game goalless streak before scoring an empty netter against the Stars. Right after that game he got back to back hat-tricks and ripped up the league.
