Pucklips Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 Burrows has skills for sure! The energy, speed and effort he brings to the game is a definite asset. He won game 7 for Vancouver vs, the Blackhawks.... No reason to offload that! On a side note, I was looking at both the Preds line up and Vancouver's. (comparing players stats etc) One thing I found surprising about Burrows is he is 6'1". I always thought he was a short lad. He isn't heavy by hockey player standards but taller than I expected. Melbourne Canuck Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 Wasn't there some media a week back stating the poor playoff record of Burrows (and Kesler for that matter)? I don't hear them now... Burrows is vital to our structure. I remember how badly we struggled early on this season when he was out with his shoulder injury. He was sorely missed and when he came back and got some games under his belt, the team improved markedly. Truth is that if we are to push for a Cup this year, he will be a key ingredient.
