Toni Zamboni
lu gave the team a chance to win and they failed. Dmen sucking PP sucking forwards out muscled to many dumb penalties
smurf47
Every excuse in the book to take the heat off Lou. anything to take the focus off of him.....he did not play well enough to keep us in the game...and we are down 2 games....time for a change...end of story !! bounceshot
I agree that his play "for the most part" has been strong. However, like his D he's prone to a few gaffes: 1. You can't stop Brown who's barreling across the crease by doing a face-first snow angel 2. That knuckler that dribbled toward him (and through him), that shouldn't go in. The team needs a shake up and that's why Schneider should go in. Lots of hockey to be played!

WHL rocks
Luongo has made some great saves but the last 2 goals in game 2 were weak. I don't expect Luongo to start game 3. Schneider will get the nets next game. He gas played well but has NOT stolen a game. A change is needed and it will be in the nets.

MoneypuckOverlord
Ok guys... yo uguys are saying it's not Luongo's fault... To win game 1 we needed 4 goals... to win game 2 we needed 5 goals..... Isn't that a lot to ask for? Maybe stop some pucks and we will really have a chance?? It's like you guys are saying"he doesn't need to be great, as long as the team in front of him is perfect, we just need some random bumb stopping pucks." So when it comes down too, is, the shot is a stoppable shot, it's ok, but if he Luongo lets goals that are difficult, or "hard to stop" it not his fault but bad defensive coverage? Then your saying, we don't expect great goaltending anymore, which means you don't expect the team to win the Stanley cup. Some of yo uLuongo supporters are epic fail. Huge fail. Do you guys notice a pattern in Luongo come playoff time? The team needs to step it up, so does Robert Luongo! He's being out played by another goalie right now. sulihpoeht
I agree Luongo is playing extremely well, but I thought Kesler played pretty well in game 2.
MoneypuckOverlord
And since when is the save percentage entirely belong to the goalie? You do realize he has a whole team in front of him right?Sheeeesh.
RU SERIOUS
Since the beggining of hockey. Great goaltending is required to win the Stanley cup. We are not getting it right now. You can't tell me he's been great.

wesley
You're actually blaming Luongo for being scored on, after we pulled our goalie in the final minutes of the first game? Now I've seen it all.
cmpunk
How after these last 2 games, the fans have concluded goaltending as the problem? There is stupid, then there is most of CDC...
cmpunk
Lu Lovers. This game we outshot them 48-26!!! We don't need your lover boy to stop the unstoppable but don't let in those back breaking goals at wrong stupid time again and again! The game losing goal was typcial Leaky Lu and the 4th dagger he was flat on all fours. Get up Lu and play goal... or you are getting to old for that? Blah blah blah.. we let in two shorties and the team in front of him sucks! Lu's the best human pylon on breakaways. Simply sick of this guy. MG and AV can't sit this guy because it would make them and the owner look stupid! Not to mention those Lu Lovers!
believe in blue forever
To everyone who is actually idiotic enough to believe Luo is the reason we are down 2-0 in the series you're just determined to hate on the guy and blame him for everything That being said maybe A.V. wants to do what he did in the Chicago series and that is start Cory but give Lu the next game whether Cory wins or loses

Kesler_smash
Schneider won't do any better, and if there was ever a player so overrated by his fans it would have to be cramps....although one does hope he doens't cramp up again if he is used this time around... cmpunk
Just like you are overrating Luongo..talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Oh and since you like clever nicknames so much here's one for Luongo.. "Bellyflop"
Kesler_smash
Not overrating LU he has been solid, not out of this world great but solid enough and has given a chance to win both games. Game 1 pp couldn't score late in the 3rd to give us the lead, game 2 pp takes another step back and gives up 2 shorties.
snucks
Luongo always lets in a goal that he should stop even when he's on his game. Can't blame the fans for critisizing his goaltending. He is more than well paid for his not so great goal tending. The management needs to stop enabling his shakey play, they should tell him to get with it or give back a few million. The fans pay big bucks for seats and expect better, can't blame em for being fed up. He should ask for a trade. Is there a team that wants him?
