I doubt there will be one even when they win it for a 3rd straight year.

Touching it = bad luck,
Not touching it apparently = bad luck.
Next year, Henrik should just urinate into it.
(while staying classy of course)

He could always try dropping to the fetal position.

Might as well crash the Stanley Cup parade while we are at it.

Giggling, but out of +1's today

One trophy has been around for a hundred years, which has only 1 winner after 16 hard-fought, bloody games end in victory.
The other is for the team that can coast through the season and get more wins than anyone else and has only been around for 26 years.

Funny enough that if you don't count last year's run the last 3 winners of the Presidents Trophy were taken out in the first round.

or you could say 1 winner over 82 hard-fought, bloody games.... you could also say, coast through 4 7-game series, get some lucky bounces, get lucky with no major injuries, get lucky with some calls going your way.... you can say that both ways. Factually and statistically, 82 games is a bigger set of data to choose the best team, versus 4 to 28 games.

There was none, because the damn thing was still in New York in anticipation of them winning it.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

Right because being the best team over 6 months and 82 games should be regarded less than being the best team over 2 months and 4 7-game series. This is what's wrong with North American sports. Forget what makes sense, what makes more money and gets more tv ratings!

I make no apologies for wanting the ultimate prize. If you dont like it, go back to your cricket or whatever u think is so much better than north american style hockey.

Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser. Get a grip!

The midnight rec league that we call the regular season means nothing. Problem is our team is tailor made to win the prez and nothing more. I'd rather finish eighth in the regular season and be headed to the second round. No question.

If Lu ends up leaving I would rather have a parade for him than the President's Trophy TBH. I would like to see a great send off for Lu ... he's done so much for the team and despite the ups and downs he's had ... it would be nice to show how much fans appreciated his dedication for the organization.
