Neil HD
Hopefully Alviar needs only this amount of jailtime to get the message, although he shouldn't have assumed that he wouldn't be punished. As for the more high-profile rioters...no comment.
JoeyJoeJoeJr. Shabadoo
I can't help but feel a little sorry for the guy but the precedent had to be set. Now the next time some jerkwads wan't to riot maybe they'll think twice.

22Sedinery33
Who cares if they didn't have have a prior record, what they did was reckless and selfish not caring for our community that we live in. Its embarassing not only for the city but for themselves as well. They deserve to go to jail, anyone who disagrees is delusional.

Denguin
I think a fair sentence was handed out. I have no interest in jailing him any longer than it takes for him to get the message. What pisses me off, is that people involved in drug rings and chronic crime probably serve shorter sentences than him. They are the real problem. RUPERTKBD
As zaibatsu pointed out, I think the fact that this person was in charge of four kids when he decided to join the riot is a major factor in jail time being appropriate.
Grapefruits
Just saw on the news that he received 150 hours of community service as well. Jail time AND community service... well deserved.
TimberWolf
Make his community service working at a dump separating recyclables from real garbage. Something I think they should do with young offenders as a deterrent as well.
