dogs>cats.
Always will love and support Cody Hodgson, great player, great potential great character, and I don't care about those stupid rumours about the trade. And we lost him, what a dissapointment. Love you COHO, forever a canuck in my heart!

One day Luongo will raise Lord Stanley's cup.
And show all those haters that he is the amazing goalie that he is.
No matter what jersey he wears, I will always be cheering for Luongo.

Forever Believe.

You expecting another flood?

Why do you think I'm moving to the Northern Okanagan?

I bought a small farm so I have enough land to build an ark. ;)

I have 2 cats and 1 dog. My dog is awesome and my cat's aren't quite as awesome. Dogs at least keep people active...

PS: I don't consider anything under 35-40 lbs a dog either...

I like both - cats are easier to deal with - I do find dogs a pain sometimes (take forever to train!) - but still love them.

I guess I'm an animal lover.

Currently, in my household, we have:

2 cats (I rescued them from a farm house fire)
2 dogs
1 salamander
90 gallon Salt water aquarium (6 fishes, 1 hermit crab, 2 shrimp, and some tiny creatures)
750 gallon pond with coy and gold fish and an 19 year old red slider turtle (called Chris for some reason)

In August we'll be adding 2 Morgan horses.

That's a lot, but you should see my sister's house.

4 dogs- 1 golden retriever, 1 pug, 1 miniature pinscher, and a husky. Her boyfriend who is moving in soon also has a doberman and crapzu

2 cats

Tons of rabbits- she even has a room just for them

A pond with a bunch of fish

A giant aquarium in her washroom

Her house smells like crap everytime I step foot into it.
Sig too big.

No smell in ours, though our soon to be 14 year son's room is questionable ;)

Disabled people generally use labs, because they are overgrown sensitive cats

And for every dog that saves a person, 150 more attack a person, or bite a baby

Nice try

And how many cats scratch and bit people? Probably more than dogs ever have on average.

You're argument for why one is better than the other should be because the one you like is smaller so can't do near as much damage. Chihuaha's say hi in that case.

Plus, there's this:

(Big scratches, just a warning!)
Spoiler

And I'd suggest this is the type of person that thinks cats are better (link for extra bonus evidence):

Besides, there is a clear winner:

Dogs are too high maintenance for my liking, but I guess one's personality dictates what you do. I don't have any pets, but I would pick a cat first. If I were to pick a dog, he'd be big and quiet. I have no use for those little yappy ones.

Dogs are for people who want to project their emotions onto stupid animals who will never progress to the point of being able to establish their own emotions

The way I see it, dogs are actual pets. They play with you, love you and are loyal.

Cats are really just animals that live in your house and you feed them.

You obviously have never owned cats.

Cats mourn.

My first cat (Foxy), when she was 3, we got her a playmate (yes, another cat, called him Tigger).
Anyways, we had to put Foxy down just after she turned 20, as she was suffering too much from old age...at the time, Tigger was still healthy, even at 17 and I figured he was going to live longer then she did.

I was wrong...

He mourned her...and within 3 months, I held him in my arms as he died from heart failure...
To this day, I have always said he died because he was heart broken....

What does a cat saving lives have anything to do with what I said? I gave my opinion on my own animals.

OR it was an old cat, that died from the same thing that caused foxy to become so ill that you just attributed to old age .

Good point. Dog owners are so insecure, they need blank canvas, dumb animals to help inflate their sense of purpose and value

You're trying to fault a cat for "feeling" the same way a human, apparently, feels?

He was still a very old cat. I'd consider that natural causes. Not dying from "a broken heart" which is for all intents and purposes, impossible.
