Sharpshooter
Franzen and Filpulla were the rumoured center piece to the deal. Franzen is a legit 1st line LW/RW Filpulla can definitely fill a 1st line C role. He is a great young center. Dubinsky was playing 3rd line last year in NY, he is not in any way a 1st line talent. He's a grinder, with decent hands. Anisimov at this point isn't even close to Johan Franzen and I don't see him ever reaching the mule's level or getting past the 2nd line. Good Job Howson. Common sense
Forward: Anisimov - Dubinksy - Umberger Foligno - Brassard - Prospal Atkinson - Johansen - Dorsett Russell - Letestu - Boll Mckenzie, Gillies Defence: Wisniewski - Tyutin Erixon - Johnson Aucoin - Murray Nikitin, Savard, Moore
Trebreh
Dubinsky, Anisimov and likely a low 1st round pick for Rick Nash. Erixon will demand a trade back to NYR lol
needtogetswole
I know you guys don't like this guy, but he had the core of this deal 2 weeks ago. Gotta respect that. Hockeyy Insiderr@HockeyyInsiderr Source: #NYRangers have offer ON THE TABLE NOW for Nash: 2013 1st+Dubinsky+Anisimov+Del Zotto.#CONFIRMED by 2nd souce. Sharpshooter
No way Nikitin is getting any less than 2nd pairing minutes, he scored half a point a game last season and averaged 23+ minutes of icetime. Defense is actually the least of CLB's concerns.
TheFastOne21
It's going to be interesting to see if Nash makes the all-star team this season. It is in Columbus.......
D-Money
Fixed. Although this trade itself isn't too terrible on paper.

UFCanuck
Anisimov = Less skilled Zherdev. Oops. Scott Howson "What?!?!!? I thought Anisimov was a French Name, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
The Läck Ness Monster
Yep....Nathan Mckinnon would look great on the right wing on either the top line or the 2nd line. Just makes CLB that much better.
UFCanuck
There's NO WAY you deal a superstar to your division rival.
Raiun
West just got a liiiitttle bit weaker. I mean it was already Columbus, but still. I wonder if Nash could have put the Rangers over the Devils during the last playoffs. I imagine that is what they are thinking now.

Shoreline74
I guess Howson was a little resentful that Edmonton won the lottery and got Yakupov. Perhaps he wants to better increase his chances by tanking even harder.
Tystick
if you couldn't figure that those would be the pieces apart of the deal.. then can't respect you hah...
Philipp0130
If we traded for him the loss would be harder for us because we don't have as much assets to trade so I'm glad we didnt do it . I'm curious though if gillis might try for bobby ryan.
Baercheese
Howson should be fired Could've got the exact same deal at the deadline and make Nash a happy man What a terrible GM
