Take the second line center position? You bet. Why not? However,I am pretty sure his Dad would want him to compete for the second line wing position. Gillis comes across as being a pompous ,'told you so' type when in reality any success he has achieved as GM is in large part based upon the best supporting cast he can pull together. I mean making false trades and claiming to be an insider should absolutely be met with humiliation. In my mind it's the same thing as a blog, when we let the uneducated take over mainstream or even social media the world quickly loses it's intelligence.
