-Vintage Canuck-
I'm waiting for Eklund to come out and tweet the lockout is over. His sources? Two former NHL players.

PlayStation
“@RealKyper: Source "tentative deal could be done within 24 hrs or #NHLPA could serve #NHL notice to disclaim early as 2day. Raoul Duke
^^^^ None of that was said by these four douchebags on TSN right now. Want a real update? "There's cautious optimism". Wow. Thanks. Also, Bettman and Daly were walking down a sidewalk at 12:05pm, they even showed the time on the screen. Like holy damn, is this really NEWS????? Holy eff, I hate this stuff so damn much!! WHL rocks
It's pretty much common sense that lockout will end soon. They are way too close, no way there is no deal.

Apricot
To get happy or not to get happy? I'm reading some great news, but this has happened to us twice. Told a deal was really close then BAM! No agreement and they don't see eachother for weeks. I have the feels that I will be jumping up with joy very soon...

Lui's Knob
When hockeyyinsiderr, eklund, Jeff oneill and tsn all have a consensus optomism, I think there's a season ... Although a lot of people will be very unhappy about the tactics and disregard for the fan

KoreanHockeyFan
Do or die today. If the talks break off today, season's over. Although things are looking good so far, but then again, that's what happened a month ago.
-Vintage Canuck-
@TSNBobMcKenzie 3 things to remember: 1. Until whole deal is done, none of it is done. 2. I'm cautiously, VERY cautiously, optimistic. 3. Re-read No. 1.

sedated
I wonder if this is gamesmanship from the NHL in response to the NHLPA talking about them being sneaky without showing proof. Start leaking that things are moving and deal is imminent, getting everyones hopes up and putting huge pressure on the players. Imagine if talks fall through and the players are all bent out of shape still. Everything would be likely to fall on them.
