Well I suppose this means that we have to get another goalie, either in return for Lu, via free agency, or via waivers.

This explains why gillis was showing more signs of holding onto luongo than before. With Lack injured, lui is going nowhere

And the Canucks are still going to trade LOU... Good Grief...time for some real hockey minds to take over.

Wow, hopefully it goes well. We are differently not trading Luongo before the Playoffs now.

Guess Gillis will need to add a backup goalie if we trade Luongo?

Climie's playing great in the AHL right now, better than Lack was before his injury

lack is done. he will never be the same, hip surgery is the worst surgery for someone to have and be in a physical spot. didn't our buddy kes have something going on with the hip...? as a goalie..you need all the power you can get..sorry to say it, but as much as i wan't lack to be great, it's over.

Yes, absolutely. No goalies are ever the same after this.

Just look at J.S. Giguere, who had the EXACT SAME SURGURY in 2004. He hasn't accomplished anything since...

Look - he can barely even hold that silver thing over his head! Totally done.
