Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Booth - Kesler - Higgins
Raymond - Schroeder - Hansen
Volpatti - Lapierre - Kassian

No way Kassian is on the 4th............I would swap him with Higgins.

Weise deserves to sit a few. Haven't really been impressed with his game or his fighting lately.

Here's a crazy idea:

Sedin -- Sedin -- Kesler
Raymond -- Schroeder -- Hansen
Higgins -- Burrows -- Kassian
Volpatti -- Lapierre -- Booth

Kesler is the trigger man the Sedins need since neither wants to shoot at the opportune time (albeit it's on the PP, Kes has a way of getting himself to the open ice when playing with the Sedins)...as well, with Kes on the ice with them, the Sedins can have more shifts that start in our end;

Burrows actually looked good as a centreman -- his speed and forechecking skills serve him well in this position (ableit he wasn't so strong on the draws);

Booth should be eased into a top six role...I wouldn't expect him to be at game speed, so give him a chance to move up the line up over the course of a few games. Play him on the second PP unit.

Higgins may have played better than Kass the last two, three games but Higgins ain't so good we should be playing him on his off wing.

Danny/Hank/Burr
Booth/Kess/Kass
Raymond/Schroeder/Hansen
Higgins/Lapierre/Weise

For the next game anyway; give Volpatti a rest > looked a little sore after the docie doe with Reeves.People forget Higgins was acquired to play 4th line and be the type of depth who could move up the line up when helpful.

And cue the trade a LW conversation. We had a spare one even before Booth came back.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sedin-Sedin-Kesler tried.

Why break up Sedin-Sedin-Burrows? Been our best line for the last 4-5 games. What I do want to see though, is Schroeder between Booth and Kesler.

Don't agree with splitting Raymond, Schroeder, and Hansen line. And who the heck is 54? Im assuming Volpatti's old number...?

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Booth Kesler Higgins
Raymond Schroeder Hansen
Volpatti Lapierre Kassian

Most saying that he shouldn't be on the fourth line, but since leaving the Sedin line he hasn't stood out. Perhaps that could light a fire under him.

Sedin-sedin-burrows
Higgins-kesler-booth
Raymond-Schroeder-Hansen
Weise-lapierre-kassian

I would rather have volpatti on the 4th line LW spot but since Weise kills penalties I guess he can contribute more

Oh, yeah...big prediction, having three of the four lines with the wingers playing on their wrong side.

It is risky and too early for Booth so my guess is it is an attempt to help the Wolves out whose offence has been devastated by injury. Andrew Gordon took a massive barge into the boards that would have felled an elephant the other day. They were already badly hit before that.

How Gordon eventually got up and walked away from that in one piece is a miracle. (Deja vu of the Raymond incident)

If Booth isn't ready as you speculate, do you seriously think the Canucks would leave themselves without an extra forward to "help the Wolves"?

Wasn't coordinated that way, was just to say whose on what line.. I see you are one of those people who just go around correcting things that don't need correcting.

Good job sir, good job. You are a real winner..

The best news out of all that is that it means Jordan Schroeder is sticking with the team for now!

Not so crazy as a temporary line-up for the first few games. Raymond played on the 4th for his first few games back last season.

good to Ebbett go down, he's AHL, not enough for elite club, nice guy and all.

nothings crazy AV makes crap up as he goes along half the games when guys arent going.

Sedin-Sedin-Kesler
Raymond-Burrows-Kassian
Higgins --Schroeder -- Hansen
Booth-- Lapierre -- Volpatti

Its good to have Booth back.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows (Sedin Magic)
Booth - Kesler - Kassian (Power Forward)
Hansen - Schroder - Raymond (Speed kills)
Higgins - Lappierre - Weise/Volpatti (this is a 4th line?)

Why would they waive Connolly and sit Steckel just to pick up Ebbett?

Because they are Toronto

Schroeder will probably have to be a depth guy during the playoffs. He's been one of our best guys this year, but he's very young and I'm skeptical that he'll be able to help us win when it counts. Especially because he's 5'9 and a rookie. I've been very impressed with the tenacious back checking from him.

If we move Raymond I think Schroeder should move down into his spot and the depth chart so we can get a solid line centre and another D. The next two years are make it or break it I think its time to make a big deal at the deadline.

If we need to improve the depth a little bit on the left wing and the right wing because I don't think Volpatti and Weise are the guys that should be in the line up during a playoff run.

Excellent, next up Dale Weisely. Finally after years of watching AV ruin perfectly good lines with Rome, Ebbett, and Weise, he'll have no choice but to play someone that might contribute.

I dont understand why everyone puts Booth and Kesler on the same line. They did not have any chemistry last year. Booth and Kesler both want the puck and wont pass. It would be like putting both Luongo and Schneider in the net at the same time.

I really hope someone snags this guy so MG has a reason to go out and find us a bottom-6 center, preferably one with size. With Malhotra's 2+ million off the books we can just buy - throw away a 2nd or 3rd round pick for a big, physical centerman who can play 15 minutes comfortably, because we're down to 3 NHL centers (not including Schroeder) - 1 injury and we're in trouble again. I'm not comfortable with Burrows playing center.

Agree with the:

Sedin - Sedin - Burr
Higgins - Kesler - Booth
Raymond - Schroeder - Hansen
Volpatti - Lapierre - Kassian

crowd. I expect Kassian to move up and down the line-up to facilitate special teams.

I hope this leads to Pinizzotto getting a chance at being our depth center once he is healthy.

My thought exactly.... Good news all around. I'd like to see him play with Schroeder.

Betting the Canucks get a centre back in a goalie trade, I could see Kes getting a shot with the Sedins when that happens. Till then, I bet Kass gets bumped to 4th line till he can show some defensive consistency. Just my guess.
