And in before the BRING IN JENSEN comments

The NHL is a fixed old boys club. I've come to acceptance with that and just watch for entertainment. The 2011 & 2012 Canucks are champs in my books.
THE CANUCKS ARE THE SINGLE, GREATEST SPORTS FRANCHISE OF ALL TIME. GO CANUCKS GO

Jensen question answered with "won't" instead of "can't."

Frankly, Sestito doesn't bring much to the table and i don't expect him to be a Canuck beyond this season.

But then very few players in the league are in canucks shape!

Finished with 17 goals - 8th in the SEL.

Here's hoping it's something minor. I'm rather liking Sestito, and not just because his name rhymes with some awesome snacking choices. (Tostitos, Doritos...)
Go, Canucks, Go!
Every single one of them.

Thanks for the memories, Luo! :'(

I really disagree. He's the only real A-hole on the team. I think that's something we can really use in the playoffs. A loose cannon that can take liberties. I don't mean head hunt but what took us out in 2011? The last 2 rounds we were hacked and slashed till our best players couldn't even get a decent shot off... It may not be the most honorable but having guys like that seems to win cups.

I think we need to stop whining when it happens to us and start doing it back... I really liked patty but I'm starting to think sestito's meanness could be more valuable in the playoffs. They can both play reliable hockey but Tito actually looks like he wants to kill somebody whereas patti just plays a solid tough 4th line role.. If I was playing against them if be watching over my shoulder more for Tito because he might throw an elbow here and there.

Maybe it wasn't Salo who was injury prone, maybe there is something contagious in our dressing room. After Kesler and Juice, now Sestito.

Btw, Salo played 22 games out of 24 this year.

Sestito brings more than people give him credit for. We've seen such a small sample size, but 99% of the Philly fans were pretty rattled when he got waived. Seems to have more upside than simply a fighter (a fairly poor fighter at that). He's got an actual mean streak which people highly under rate. You CANNOT force somebody to play that role (Oreskovich? Had all the tools to be a beast of a 4th liner, but not an ounce of aggression). They either have it or they don't. Hence why these guys take it too far and get suspended here and there. It's just a part of their personality. Guys like Torres, Kaleta, Rinaldo and Tootoo all play on the edge and every now and then cross that edge. If we want players like that on our roster (which I think is a necessity) then you have to take the bad with the good. I would have one of those guys on my 4th line over anybody the Canucks have had there these past couple of seasons.

As much as we would all like to see Jensen come up and push somebody back a line, that doesn't help our bottom 6. Who's going to fight our battles? Kassian? Too valuable. Weise? Dear God. It would be great to see Pinizzotto called up so we can all finally see what this guy can bring. That one preseason he had is starting to get a tad bit foggy. In reality, we all know who is getting the call up...

Andrew Ebbett.

Sweatt deserves callup. It's not like having a big guy was helping our play much.

Time to insert some speed and skill.
