Edler, hamhuis , and bieksa form the core of canucks defense and from those 3 Edler is best offensive defense, Hamhuis and bieksa are soild defensively. Now garrison can be included in the canucks core but i believe Edler has more offensive power than garrison. Yes, edler has some injury issue and sometime he makes stupid play but he brings tons of offensive play.. If we trade edler we need to bring equal or better offensive D. (ehrhoff *cough*) as for trade bait I think either of the goalie and booth should be included. (if not booth than prospect + goalie) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kack Zassian Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 got to give to get, if we want quality game changing pieces in return we will have to trade a quality defensemen. at this point i would trade one of Edler or Hamhuis out of the TOP 4 and a goalie...only way were gonna get serious pieces back. obviously if Ballard and Raymond could get it done i would keep Edler around. Edler has sucked since being the worst player in the league last playoffs. His last game a glimmer of hope.... this team needs 2-3 upgrades at forward , getting them will mean the loss of a goalie and an Edler/Hamhuis type... unless Gillis is a magician (Pahlsson and Gragnani would say not) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
