Cory and the twins. Mainly Daniel if u ask me... he's gotta score.

Also eddy has to perform... please eddy pleassseeee play ur best.
The NHL is a fixed old boys club. I've come to acceptance with that and just watch for entertainment. The 2011 & 2012 Canucks are champs in my books.

Obviously in the playoffs everybody has to show up in order for a team to have success. However, there are individuals on every team that tend to disappear or play on a lower level during the playoffs than what they have played at in the season. We keep hearing in the media that it's AV's last chance & if we fail in the first round then he loses his job. That's fair but a coach can only do so much - it's the players that have to play.

Which player will you be looking on to perform impressively this playoff? One that hasn't done so in the past but must this spring on order for you to even consider having him next season. For me it would be Raymond. We need his secondary scoring in the playoffs and I remember a stretch during the season where he was absolutely on fire. However, lately he has been doing his usual late season disappearing act. As a free agent, for me if he doesn't perform this spring then I think it should be time to move on. I think in all his playoff games in vancouver he has 7 goals. If he gets 0-2 this spring.. then it's time to look at other options

All the veterans should be under major pressure because the time is now for this group , The Sedins have one season left on there contract and if they still cant get the job done then its time for a new direction

Schneider. A lot of people have been lobbying for this change. He does seem to play his best when under pressure, though.

There is no excuse why this player cannot have a dominant playoffs.

We are going to need Kesler to step up in order to do anything but we also need Edler to keep it under wraps so we don't lose it.

We already know the Sedins and Schnieder will show up, hopefully.

Edler and Bieksa are going to have to play better hockey to shut down the Sharks offense. We can't just rely on Hamhuis and Garrison.

Definitely the fans. If we trash the city and riot again, then we deserve all the crap we get. Maybe this year we can atone for 2011 (and 1994). So man up and act with respect, win or lose.

Sedins, it's time to bare down.

It's fun to 'bare down', but do it in private with your sweetie. Maybe if the Sedins bear down?

Ballard needs to justify his salary this Playoffs; If he ever gets to play.

Kesler has to prove that he was and still is "Captain" material and lead by example; Work with his linemates and not try to be a one man show.

Raymond needs to step up and play a more physical game and go to the dirty areas again. Finish a check every now and then.

Lapierre is going to UFA so he needs to play his game and not get caught up in emotion.

Schneids needs to be solid and steady back there. Luongo too maybe.

Edler needs to keep in control and not try to do it all in one series.

They should all feel the same amount of pressure, it's the playoffs.

Everyone needs to bare down and do their job, even the fourth liners.

but, unfortunately, not gonna happen. imminent thread fails...

secondly, the zebras. these disappearing acts rarely show up in the playoffs and should be under a hell of a lot of pressure to perform - unfortunately they'll be under very little pressure - they're like bureaucrats - essentially a free-floating power structure accountable to (it's a mystery...)

AV. If the Nucks end up losing in the 1st round, he will be fired

Even if that happens, I don't see AV getting fired, I just don't see it.

He will be, and lots of other changes will be made too if we lose this series.

Us and the Sharks are in the same boat, both teams are career playoff underperformers

It's going to be really ugly for whichever team loses this series

Edler for sure this year. They have to decide whether he's worth being the highest paid dman in the dressing room. If he doesn't perform and beast like we know he can, he will be gone before his NTC kicks in.

Sedins next season will be under the microscope cuz it's the last year of their contracts. Will be a turning point for the team. Not this year though. They still have their contract and aren't under as much scrutiny. They have been pretty reliable for the most part. Just haven't won a cup yet.

I think Kassian will be under a lot of pressure from the fans. There's no chance that he gets moved if he doesn't perform like was being asked. But I get the feeling that a larger number of this fan base is just itching to turn on him. Hopefully not, considering his age. He's a lot younger than some people seem to realize when they criticize the guy.

Welcome to CDC.

As far as the most pressure? I think mayray is going to have the most pressure on him. The fans already don't like him and historically he can't finish in the playoffs (and also the injury which he hasn't really played 100% himself since obviously) and there will be many flame threads if he doesn't produce.

Other than the goalie, Sedins are and should be under the scope.

Henrik was apoint per game last playoffs and Daniel when he played was even better. In 2011 Henrik Sedin was 2nd overall in playoff scoring and Daniel was 4th. I think they've already proved themselves. The pressure this year like always will be on the goaltending.

With this fan base it's pretty much the whole team because no matter how good everyone does, CDC will find the one player that didn't play well and focus on that.

I'd say Schneids. It's his year to be the starter in the playoffs, and both the fans and him expect to perform accordingly.

But I think my number one concern is for Kesler to play more like a hockey player, and less like a figure skater. I don't want to see any of that crap on the ice again, like last years series.

Alex Edler.

Single-handedly the biggest reason we beat Chicago and lost to L.A. This guy is a complete game-changer, for the right and wrong reasons. When he's on his game he is probably a top-5 NHL defenceman, when he's at his worst he's killing this team.

Signing a big contract, coming off a poor season, this guy better perform the way he did in 2011 or it's lights out for the Canucks and a trade should be imminent.

Everyone should feel the pressure but the following should feel it more

1 Schneider, has proven he can win in the regular season so has Luo, if he wants to become undisputed #1 he has to get the canucks well into the playoffs (not saying the final but at least the 2nd round maybe 3rd., Luo went to SCF, Last year they each lost two.
2. Any person who has an expiring contract
3. 1st line needs to step up and not rely on 2nd and 3rd line for scoring as much as in the past.
