Were they any less traumatized by their father actually committing suicide and being a wanted violent criminal who had just jacked a car at gunpoint and fired on pursuing officers? Im gonna go ahead and assume their father had been a fairly constant source of trauma to the family from day one and at least this time it was the last time.
