I was kind of hoping for that as well at the start, but I guess not. For my sake, I hope the Isles do make the playoffs, as well as the Red Wings. We didn't compensate Azzy for his Sobotka pick, and that situation was entirely beyond his control. This is stuff that's up to you to research. You can retain his rights should he make an NHL return. Its an easy mistake to make, but my job is to run a fair league not to baby the GMs. This isn't an attack on Motz by any means, just trying to explain my rationale.
