Steve Bennett was probably the BEST CDC troll, if anything. I loved his shtick.

I'll throw in a vote for Sergei "Cepr" Makarov. Still not entirely sure whether he was a parody or if he was actually that much of a homer towards Russian players. His rant on Nikita "Filatraitov" was pretty fantastic though...

STINKY METAL......Now there was a troll who took his craft seriously, that guy was light years ahead of his time, some of my favorite CDC stuff to this day.

Jim something? Not sure if he was a troll or just really grumpy, at any rate, I found myself agreeing with him frequently.

Also, not that Wetcoaster was a troll, but he certainly had an agenda of some sorts, did he ever come clean with what it was?

I enjoyed his well researched posts (The Bure one is "Hall of fame") But I always wondered what the motivation was.
