alt kilgore
I'd like to be there. But is a sticker on the helmet enough? Toronto is putting a patch (clover leaf?) for two games. I think we should also have a patch on the jersey but for the entire season.

Baggins
VANCOUVER, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks will celebrate the life and legacy of Pat Quinn prior to tonight’s game versus the New Jersey Devils. The organization will honour the beloved Canuck with a video tribute and moment of silence before the national anthems. Fans are encouraged to arrive by 6:55 pm to share in the remembrance of Pat Quinn. The team also confirmed that the players will wear “PQ” decals on their helmets for the rest of the season to honour Pat Quinn’s legacy. The design will be unveiled prior to the game. Inside Rogers Arena, the Forever a Canuck display at Section 121 will be fully dedicated to Pat Quinn. Fans will be able to view images, videos and other memories of Pat’s time with the Canucks. Those not in attendance at tonight’s game also have the opportunity to share their memories and stories of Pat Quinn by visiting Canucks.com/PatQuinn. The Canucks will celebrate Pat’s life in a larger ceremony at a future game this season. More details will be announced at a later date. http://canucks.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=740860

KelownaCanucksFan
Small ceremony tonight with a larger one to follow in the new year. My hope is that for one night bring back the skate jersey and elevate Pat from the ring of honor to the rafters with his family there. He is going into the hall of fame next year and it would seem fitting for the canucks to do that.

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
On WD's jacket has the patch which I assume will be what the team will have on their helmet for the rest of the season. The four leaf clover with initials PQ

Ryp and Bourdon's were both decals, no? With all due respect, those players contributions to the Vancouver Canucks, pales in comparison to Pat Quinn's influence on the team and for a long period of time which saw the team go from the laughing stock of the league to almost winning the Cup twice. I think a patch on the jersey for the season would be the least they could do. I mean if they keep it on the salable jerseys they may even make some money with it, give a portion to charity. I'd like one with a PQ patch on it.

samurai
Pat Quinn was such an important figure in hockey in Canada. For nucks everything started moving forward when he showed up. My favorite 'father figure' in the game.

Green Building
i hope they do put a patch on the jersey - hell the leafs are doing it Leafs aside, I completely agree. Put the patch on the jersey. A decal is nearly invisible on a helmet. I'm a little surprised, and somewhat sad that the sweet patch on WDs jacket isn't on all of the players uni's. Oh well. Will be an emotional night inside Rogers Arena.
