      Playing the 4C role with 2 grinders might alter his development. He isn't Horvat. If there was a 3C spot open I would definitely want him there.

      Putting him at 4C isn't a terrible move either, but I can see why they might decide against it.

      The only obstacle with any merit to him making the team is whether or not there is a place for him where he will get enough minutes for it to be good for his development. I'd rather see him destroying junior and developing playing 22 minutes+ a night than see him as 4C playing with Prust and Dorsy playing 7-8 minutes a night in the NHL
