Dipietro will not make it to the NHL with his size. He had the same problem in his last NHL game exposing both his shoulders and going down like no tomorrow. It’s the same problem today as it was years ago.

Can we just have the goalie and the other 4 players and just completely block off the net? That way we atleast get a freaking point?That has to be possible, right? I mean like cover the entire net, like every inch of it and just create a human wall. One guy, like highmore or motte, can be the lone guy out there rushing pucks and trying to steal. We thought we have ourselves a first line elite center but now with each passing game it’s looking more likely that he will never regain his form. if you look at other great top talents. There is not one out there that has had such a subpar season. Not only are his numbers bad, but he is not doing anything out there. This is extremely concerning and it’s a mystery. It could be pressure.

I have pretty much given up on petey. It’s not easy but the facts are just black and white.

Resigning Boeser at 7.5 is a dumb move. Thanks benning for handcuffing us and basically marking the end of BB’s era with the Canucks. BB is probably the 4/5 th best player on this team and it doesn’t make sense to sign him as the highest AAV forward in this group. The only out I see is if BB and the Canucks come to a deal outside of the current contract. Otherwise, BB won’t be a Canuck moving forward. That’s just the truth.

So we were told that Dickinson is a good third line pk shut down defensive whatever. So is he that? He provides zero offense and zero defense so what is the use of this player

It has to be the wrist unfortunately. Injuries can screw up a player and Petey had a wrist injury that sidelined him for the season last year. It’s not a coincidence that he is somehow not performing. He can suck and be out of sync with timing etc. but a player won’t just lose his shot like that. The wrist injury is the only explanation at this point.
