I seem to remember Burkie really pumping his tires when he acquired him...”goalie of the future” nonsense.   For a guy that complained about Vancouver being a goalies graveyard...guy couldn’t draft and or trade for one to save his life.  The single cup he won as a NHL GM....he inherited that starting goalie.

It's funny hearing messier say he was gonna take Weekes out back and beat him silly
