Used to be Belvedere/Red Bulls, and Hennessy and Cohibas. But not anymore.

Ended up drinking too many Belvedere/Red Bulls and smoking whatever was legal on a wild, wild night in Amsterdam in 2011 and ended up with alcohol poisoning resulting in missing a number of meetings I had lined up with investment bankers in London and Frankfurt.  Started to think I had a drinking problem.

Then a few months later, after drinking a half bottle of Hennessy and smoking a couple of big fat Cohibas with my buddies on the rooftop patio at Joe Fortes, I found myself regurgitating the dozen Fanny Bay oysters and Bone in Rib Eye in the bathroom before my bill arrived. After this incident, I KNEW I had a drinking problem so I stopped drinking and smoking cold turkey.  Haven't had a drink/smoke since...clean and sober 10 years, almost to the day.

Now, my guilty pleasures are: doting over my wife, planning for the arrival of our first child (checking out strollers, car seats, baby carriers, cribs, getting decorating ideas for the nursery, making our home infant proof, etc.), hanging out with our two dogs, grilling the perfect steak, sneaking in nine holes of golf at Morgan Creek, and stock picks that turn out to be winners.  Yes, I know...really boring stuff.

@NewbieCanuckFan, that song! I like it.  This local airline had a commercial a while back with this song and their safety dance.  I thought it was catchy even though I was not getting on an airplane.
