    When I got my Bo jersey a few years ago, I was going to try and get them to attach a C onto it. I had no doubt that one day he would be Captain.

    It does not set a good precedence for future RFA signings. If we want to be competitive for several years we need good contracts. The Leafs have been careless with their cap and are about to lose almost their entire defence next year, with only enough cap space to sign one or two good/decent guys.

    I'd be happy with 4x6 or 6.5 and so should Boeser. He'll cash in big in 4 years and if hes not happy he can go to arbitration. He kind of owes us one for burning a year on his ELC to play those 9 games

    Bit of a concern hearing this about Jake. He had a very long off season to prepare. He shouldn't just be tyring to reach those goals, he should be trying to surpass them. Still seems like he's not taking this seriously enough when away from the ice. It's clear he wants it when he's here, but he needs to be more focused and determined away from the ice is what I'm gathering

    If he's not signed by the start of the pre-season games the team actually plays in, I will be pretty disappointed in Boeser. Don't think this one is on JB, seems like he's offered him several different options.
