He’s terrible. Another guy who simply grew too fast amongst his peers at a young age and dominated a weaker QMJHL. Now he could be another Nino Neiderreiter in the future, but he’s a reclamation project at this point. His skating is average, his hockey IQ is average, he’s got a good vision and a shot, but lacks the overall ability to drive the play.

Her ego and fictitious attitude as well as her inability to handle even a slight bit of criticism coupled with her literally breaching her contract is why she was let go. But she thinks it’s their fault for her actions. She tries so hard to be victim it’s quite hilarious. She gets told she may not have what it takes mentally and she thinks her own boss Emilie is jealous? What would she be jealous for? She probably felt “hurt” and “blindsided” because a woman in a male dominated business was the one to give her that criticism and she ultimately couldn’t take it. She wants to be victim so bad that whole passage just screams “victim victim victim victim!”

All those leads blown in October and awful defending/goaltending. I do think we had a lot of bad luck as well. With Bear being a steady staple in the top 4, it allows guys like Myers to focus on a shutdown role with limited minutes.

Why would Emilie be jealous of her she’s literally higher up than her. She sounds like she’s way too high maintenance. It sucks she has these mental health issues but she should have never taken the job in the first place if she thought she wasn’t going to have these flair ups/triggers. This isn’t a case of misogyny, it’s her insubordinate attitude and the overall entitlement she has. She has a history of these pesky remarks in public, there’s a reason why she was not allowed to repost anything social media related about internal affairs or promotions, whether it’s congratulatory or not. Now Emilie could have been more receptive of her, but we don’t know their side of the story yet. There’s a job to do, promotions are great, but you’re not there to please and have everyone reassure you that you’re doing a great job every single time. You clock in, do what’s required of you, and clock out. Fishing for compliments always ends up making you look foolish as soon as constructive criticism is given. Now mental health is important, and employers should always make sure their are services available for their employees, but using it as an excuse in this matter when clearly you violated several of your clauses is grounds for termination. Canucks will probably pay her out to avoid further mess and be gone with that whole debacle.

Don't think I can remember a time we had a goalie who was able to close out a game without getting scored on at least once. Markstrom had his first shutout i believe the year we went into the playoffs. Demko has had 2 since.
