Not with the pitching they have. It's a case of AA but also Rogers being cheap. I'd say frack it and go after either Price or Hamels. Both would cost alot in return but with Hamels you'd have to take the big contract on.
He's a 1# something the Jays don't have. Shields is another guy who is available and you wouldn't have to give up as much and has a reasonable contract, has a opt clause where he can leave following 2016 season.
