    So...are the US Politics thread and the Roe V Wade thread gone forever and we were just mollified with a "Closed For Cleaning" message? It's been almost a week...:(

      It looks kinda suspicious to me.  Not like we'd ever be told if it were true, but I wouldn't be surprised if some conservative busybody complained to some higher-up at Rogers about the "lack of balance" in those threads and the order to shut down those threads was the result.

       

      Edit: if you've seen the kind of comments Rogers allows on SN's site re: Grier's hiring and Wickenheiser's promotion to AGM, you can see the editorial slant SN prefers.

    I asked the same thing. I apologize if the salty language used in a tweet I posted necessitated a clean up but there had been several salty language posts previously and I thought there might be some leeway being given because they were actual quotes from other people. This is a HUGE, almost 7 years long thread of posts .... and just when the nightmare that is Trump and his minions may be finally coming to an end, the thread is gone...doesn't seem fair for those of us who have been there since the very beginning.
