    Dam with all the Dahlen news recently, I don’t know what to believe. One side is lying.

      Kinda like the telephone game, maybe:

       

      1)Dahlen tells his agent he feels ready for the NHL, is frustrated with the demotion to Utica.

       

      2)Dahlen tells his agent he's not getting the minutes or deployment he wants. Feels like he's not being given a chance.

       

      3)Agent calls JB and says Dahlen feels like he's not being given enough opportunity in Utica.

       

      4)JB takes those words like they sound, as a trade request, and trades his ass.

      No need for anyone to lie here, and the line of communication would be Dahlen -> Agent -> Benning, so it's probably either Dahlen or his agent being vague and his agent or Benning misunderstanding.

      I think he was just poorly advised by whoever was his agent.
       

      JP Barry was working with some Swedish agent. They are both at fault IMHO.
