  1. I agree, for Hoglander. But if the Wild have any interest in acquiring Boeser, Addison should be a 'must' in the return package.
  2. You can see why the Sharks put Lane Pederson on waivers after they picked up Dzingel, instead of Gadjovich. I kinda wish it had been the other way around, just so we could have claimed Gadjovich back. But ss others have said, as much as I admire Gad's fighting, I don't know if he can skate anywhere near well enough to play on an energy line for Boudreau (let alone to displace one of our current 4th liners).
  3. All I know is that the Canucks pregame press release said that Kannok Leipert would be making his return to the lineup on D tonight, then they decided to add this guy as a PTO instead!
  4. It was Sceviour who boarded him. Trying to get revenge for being pummeled by Myers I bet!
  5. I don't think anyone does. I think they just see he's 6'6" and want him here (including the ones who think we need to get rid of Myers).
  6. So is he leading the league in points? Or at least points per game?
  7. Zacha's -18 this year stands out to me. Worst on the Devils by a healthy margin. Not sure how well that would go over with Boudreau.
  8. Is this proposed deal all part of your devious plan to make the Canucks the softest of all soft teams in the NHL?!
  9. Did you just volunteer to let JR know that Tryamkin's season is over and he should be trying to sign him now??!
  10. Or a GM who can be duped into thinking Dickinson is a useful player, the same way Benning was.
  11. Yes!! I don't get it either. But I know what Mr. Miyagi would say to Trent Cull:
  12. After two consecutive 5-goal games.....WTH!
  13. Agreed! I want Laf first, mainly because of how highly-touted he was for several years before his draft, and hoping he can still live up to that potential. But Othman is actually looking like he could be a more dominant NHLer than Laf, and I would be happy to take him if Laf is off the table. I would would really want the Rangers to add Barron to any trade that we make with them though, as he could be an ideal 3rd line C for years to come, and we really need another C if we trade Miller (because there's absolutely no C of value in our prospect pipeline).
  14. I agree. She seems like a very likeable person and I would really like her to see her do well because of it, but it looks like a lot of people have jumped on the Cammi-train with lots of enthusiasm and little other reason (such as some history of success as an NHL executive) to back it up. It just seems like the popular thing to do. Anyways, we will see and hopefully it does turn into a real-life feel-good story in the end!
  15. Those are basically my three predicted (hoped for) trades as well. The only addition I would make would be: Colorado: Newhook, Justin Barron, & possibly a 1st or 2nd.
  16. I'm pretty sure Rutherford's plan is not to trade our overpriced depth players in order to turn around and sign any of the top, overpriced UFA's. There's a reason why he and Allvin have only talked about signing undrafted European and collegiate free agents.
  17. I don't know, but he managed to do it for a second game in a row!!
  18. That's the best deal I think we could get from Boston. Only problem is that, since trading Miller is our best chance to also add a quality young centre (which we badly need), this deal doesn't fit our needs as well as what some other teams can offer.
  19. Erikson Ek would fit the bill too. And Addison is the young RHD we would need added to a Minn trade.
