  1. Green is shaking things up, myers with Hughes. switching Boeser around. two defenceman on the PP more active forecheching in the defensive zone, I noticed ever since Edmonton, that they have been challenging the puck player more. when was the last time you saw a breakaway (hoglander) from a forecheck in our zone?
  2. well did carolina re-sign their assistant coaches? I would be interested in the defensive and offensive coaches from carolina and the defensive oaches from NYI and BOS
  3. every time you trade a servicable player, you run the risk of signing a dud. there is no 20/20 vision who will succeed or not. the more trades you make the more duds you sign. signing new ufa agents every year is tough. look at buffalo this year, big time fails. and now eichel wants out, this will set them back years!!! the sabres are not going to get a favorable trade. Taylor Hall , mark stone, Ryan Oreilly. also after running through your roster like a accountant what UFA would want to sign in vancouver? name some significant UFA signings from one of these teams. https://www.capfriendly.com/trades/avalanche colarado without the duschene trade made nearly the exact same type of trades as benning, giving up picks to try to jump start thier rebuild. they didn't sell too many players. maybe this means we should trade Hughes and miller? beause other than ryan Oreilly and duschene they didn't sell too many players
  4. hey we could be a team like that, and petterson migh be asking for a trade right now. have you seen what happened to buffalo, ottawa, columbus and edmonton. not exactly quick turn arounds. because losing your rfa players because they demand a trade is usually a great way to lose all the advantage you get from trading 1/4 of the team away every season.

Way G was 57% more dominant than 3rd Top scorer and scored 50%TS AVG 4 best years

Mar L was 39% more dominant than 3rd Top scorer and scored 58%TS AVG 4 best years

McDavid needs about a 50% domination and factor 60% in his team goals before he gets mentioned for all time best years. that  would be about a 2.07ppg pace. 13 points in his next 2 games? JK

still McDavid's season ranks 8th in my opinion of best years in the past 40.

mario lemeiuxs factoring in on the teams 66% goals  in 88/89 is insane

Looks like you would benefit from spreadsheets instead of status updates to do your calculations.

Most time's i work with spreadsheets but when I do, I tend to be very neat and thorough. its kind of like work to me, breaking out a calculator and hand bombing all this data is was just something i did for fun. I also watched game  1 of the 92 SCF.

vs the chicago nightmares starring roenick, larmer chelios, smith and belfour. what a brutally tough team.

  6. love how hughes just says, "hey myers i know im closer but can you go battle for the puck?" also im liking this line.
  7. two or fewer season is exempt. I believe hughes doesnt ount because 9 or less games doesn't count as a pro season. hoglander and hughes are exempt
  8. eichel scored 36g and 78p in 68 games last year. but will he be the same after his injuries heal? i would make a offer dependent on a successful surgery. if eichel is healthy he's a top 10 center in the league, better than pettersson.
  9. The only way i would consider a trade for eichel is if they retain 2M. miller/horvat 2021 1st + conditional 2nd that becomes a 1st if we win one playoff series for eichel?
  10. at this point it's a shutdown line, consider him a improved LE
  11. yes it does. if you start the season using LTIR your max cap will be 81.5m + relief (say hawryluk) if you do not use the full relief you will start the season with a ACSL less than 81.5m what ever the difference is. the canucks did a really good job and our acsl is $81,490,212. anyways have a good day = = =
  12. you are just not getting it. their active roster+penalties is below 81.5m the other 18m is LTIR. everyone starts the season either under the salary cap. or under the offseason upper limit, which will be reduced to under 81.5 with LTIR I believe tampa circumvented the cap this season along with Chicago and maybe a few others. we will see if they are penalized. but every single game this year the active roster was below 81.5 million .
  13. your scenario said you wanted to trade beagle and roussel, i said that was interesting, because who wants them. you back tracked said beagle can go on ltir, which is fine. but roussel would have to be traded for a retained salary or maybe needed a 1st round pick thrown in. LTIR IS NOT A GOOD THING TO BE RELYING ON
  14. well, there active roster calculates to under 81.5m so i see they are not circumventing the cap. cap space is a weird thing everyone starts at 81.5 million at the beginning of the season, why toronto's is 84.5 is because of ryley nash's 3million. if they went above that during the season they would be fined hard.
